Samskrita-kendram - Stamford, CT

The Samskrita Bharati (SB) Kendram in Stamford, CT is open for registration for children and adults. Classes will run from October 2025 to June 2026.There will be separate levels/classes for adults and children. Prior knowledge of Samskritam is not required at beginner level

When? What are the dates and timings?

Children: Every Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm onwards. Classes will last for about 1 hour.

Adults: Every Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm onwards. Classes will last for about 1 hour.

Where is the class conducted?

SB-CT kendram (center) is based in CT and will adopt a teaching model of conducting in-person classes for adults and children on weekends. Classes will be held at Wilton, CT. 

Exact details on the locations will be shared once registration is completed and feedback from registered students is taken into account.

Who can register?

Children from grades K to grades 8th are eligible to enroll. Parents and other adults are also encouraged to join the Kendram. 

Adults who registered are expected to know at least one Indian language, since the teaching methodology leverages Sanskrit vocabulary from other Indian languages. Adult students with no prior knowledge in Samskritam would choose the Beginner Level (L1). Those who have completed a year of L1 level course can choose Intermediate level.
