Narmada-Samskrita-Shibiram 2026 is a residential family Samskritam camp in Southern California, organized mainly by the Samskrita Bharati chapters of Irvine, Simi Valley, and San Diego.

What are the dates and times?

Starting: Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT
Ending: Sunday, September 6th, 2026 at 8:00 PM PT

All participants must report to the camp no later than 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 5th. For off-shibiram accommodations, please be on site from 8 AM on both days.

Who can register?

Children above the age of 6 along with Parent(s); Adults including University Students and Seniors. Prior knowledge of Samskritam is not required for the beginner level. Familiarity with an Indian language is recommended. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Beginner and advanced levels of Samskritam are offered.

What makes the camp fun?

Immersive learning of Samskritam through the medium of Samskritam even for beginners. Besides classes, other activities include Yoga and meditation in the morning, Games, Bookstore, Entertainment, Bhashanam, and excellent food.

Fees

  • Adults (Age 18 and up): $125
  • Seniors / Visiting parents (65+): $100
  • Children and Youth (ages 6-17): $75

Fees include lodging, food, classes, and all camp activities. There are limited spots (60) for on-site accommodation; late registrants will need to arrange their own accommodation. SAFL students get a discount on residential camps.

Refund Policy

  • Before July 31st: 70% refund
  • August 1st to August 15th: 25% refund
  • August 16th and later: No refund
