Overview

S2S Course - Online Certificate Course for adults

In affiliation with the Maharashtra government’s recognized Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University (KKSU), Samskrita Bharati is offering online certificate course for adults (age +18 years) called sambhāṣaṇataḥ śāstraparyantam (s2s: a working motto for Samskrita Bharati) from May 2020 onwards. The sixth batch of s2s is starting from September 11, 2023.

s2s Course - sambhāṣaṇaṁ to śāstram (सम्भाषणं to शास्त्रम्‌) course is a 4 year certificate course. At the end of the entire course work, every student who fulfills the requirements will be issued a certificate from KKSU.

- S1 ( sambhāṣaṇaṁ) - Listening and Speaking

- S2 ( bhāṣā ) - Basic vyākaraṇam concepts 

- S3 ( pragata-bhāṣā) - vyākaraṇam (Grammar) concepts related to sāhityam

- S4 ( sāhityam / śastram) - Additional vyākaraṇam concepts and excerpts from literature sāhityam or nyaya śastram

Note: P1 ( pragata-sambhāṣaṇaṁ) -Advanced level Speaking

Criteria for joining each Course

- The online classes meet once a week for 90 minutes. 

- Class attendance, participation in class and weekly homework count towards final grade.

- Additionally, there are tests during the end of the semester. The classes use an interactive method of teaching.

- Certificate will be provided after the successful completion of the S4 course.

- Please note, the registration and the fee mentioned is for a single year. Each year is a course by itself.

- At the end of the entire course work (4 years), every student who fulfills the requirements will be issued a certificate from KKSU.
