Online Samskrita Kendram for College Students

Sanskrit Level 1 , Level 2 (for those who have completed Level 1 previous year) , and Pre-advanced level ( प्रगतपूर्ववर्गः for anyone who has completed SAFL and/or attended Bali Camp ) courses are designed to introduce youth to the rich language of Sanskrit via conversational Sanskrit. As this is designed solely for college/university students and young working professionals, it tailors to their specific learning needs and interests. To further cater to a student’s schedule, this course is conducted via the web. Through books, online materials and instruction, opportunities are provided for students to interact in Samskritam. Upon completion of the Level 1 course, students are prepared for further grades of study and can participate in residential camps and a host of other fun online and regional activities organized every year by Samskrita Bharati nationwide.

When? What are the dates and timings?

Youth: November 5th 2023 to May 12th 2024 (Sunday 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM Eastern time)

Where is the class conducted?

The classes will be conducted online via Zoom.

Who can register?

College/University students and working professionals from ages 18 to 28 are eligible to enroll. Students must begin learning Devanagari script (help can be provided). The first 2 months of the Level 1 course will use roman transliteration also.
