Samskrit Retreat for Young Adults (18 to 30)

What is this program?

Calling on young adults entering college, in college and working professionals in the age group of 18-30 ! Mark your calendars for an unforgettable experience in our upcoming first ever Yuva-śibiram. Whether you are a college student or a recent graduate or a seasoned alumnus, this event promises to be an enriching experience filled with engaging activities, insightful discussions, and the opportunity to reconnect with friends as well as forge new connections. Save the date and join us for an inspiring weekend (Aug 8-10, 2025) of celebrating संस्कृतं, संस्कृतिः and सख्यम् !!!

When (dates and timings)?

Weekend of Aug 8-10, 2025.

Program begins on Friday, Aug 8th at 6pm CT and ends on Sunday, Aug 10th at 1pm CT.

Where will this Yuva-śibiram be held?

Yuva-śibiram will be held in Chicago, IL.

Venue: Chinmaya Abyudaya Retreat Center

How much does it cost to attend the Yuva-śibiram?

Registration fee includes food, boarding and local transportation to and from ORD or MDW airport). Travel arrangement to and from Chicago is the responsibility of the registrant.

1. Individual registration - $100 per person
2. Group of 2 - $80 per person
3. Group of 3 or more - $70 per person

What is NOT covered in the cost of the program?

Travel arrangement to and from Chicago is the responsibility of the registrant and is not part of the registration fee.

Who can register?

Any youth who is eager to learn or pursue Samskrit (prior knowledge NOT required) AND meets one of the criteria given below -

• Student in a college or university as of Aug/Sept 2025)
• Working professional (30 years of age or younger) 

Who cannot register?

• Camp धीमहि is for Freshmen or other levels as mentioned above (under Who can register?). This camp is NOT for students who will still be in high school as of Aug/Sep 2025.
